    Scrap Metal in May

This May, many markets have seen prices drop slightly depending on the region and metal grade. Non-Ferrous grades related to steel, such as stainless, have dropped since last month, mainly due to a drop in nickel. While there may be slight fluctuations in prices across the board, Aluminum and Copper are continuing to see prices rise. Since prices surged in March, it seems that April and May are correction months that show long-term stability in the market. Overall, the market is showing no signs of dramatic increase or decrease. More specifically, the Baltimore market appears to be going sideways. Be sure to check our websites for the most up-to-date prices.
